Definitely announced this autumn's round of Safe Sepsis Care
Finally, it has been clarified with definite message about the autumn's round of Safe Sepsis Care;
Good news is that 10 hospitals(!) would be audited
- Region Värmland (Karlstad, Arvika and Torsby)
- Region Kalmar (Kalmar, Oskarshamn and Västervik)
- Region Dalarna (Falun, Mora, and Avesta)
- Region Västra Götaland (Östra sjukhuset in Gothenburg)
The timetable is as follows:
- First week in September - Introduction meeting activities (Löf is responsible). Löf (Landstingens Ömsesidiga Försäkringsbolag) is a nationwide Swedish insurance company whose main task is to insure publicly financed health care providers.
- October 20 - Deadline for self-evaluation report from departments
- Week 45 - November 4-5 - Start seminar for reviewers in Stockholm
- Week 47 - November 19-20 - Site visit Dalarna / Kalmar / Östra <sjukhuset (2 days)
- Week 48 - November 26-27 - Place visit to Värmland (2 days)
- December 12 - Deadline for feedback report. Action Agreement within 4-5 weeks thereafter
- June 2020 - Action Reporting and follow-up visits
Need for reviewer:
- With 10 hospitals, at least 45 reviewers are needed. For the smaller hospitals in one region it is enough with 4 reviewers, but for Falun, Kalmar and Karlstad 5 is needed, and for Östra Sjukhuset 6 reviewers
