So far, 26 ICU departments have completed step 1 of SIR's Audit and 15 have completed step 2 follow-up
The SIR Audit is conducted in two steps. Step 1 involves the actual Audit vsit to the unit, during which external intensiv care staff and SIR representatives physically visit the facility.
Step 2 in the follow-up that occurs 6 to 12 months after the initial visit.
