Fewer newborns need hospital care due to RSV
The need for intensive care among newborns has decreased in 2026 as a result of RSV infection. Data show that preventive treatment of newborns introduced in autumn 2025 has clearly reduced the need for hospital care.
One of SIR:s founders has passed away
