More transplants despite fewer organ donors in Sweden

The number of organ transplants increased in 2025, rising from 822 to 834. This occurred despite a decrease in the number of organ donors in Sweden during the same period. These findings are presented in the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare's latest reports on organ donation and transplantation.
