The way to look at Medical Conditions with sepsis has been developed and an international working group has developed new definitions and diagnostic criteria for sepsis and septic shock, Sepsis-3.
A Swedish consensus group has agreed on how Sepsis-3 should be used in Swedish health care, on behalf of the Swedish Infectious Disease Association, Swedish Association for Emergency Care, Swedish Association for Anesthesia and Intensive Care, and the Swedish Intensive Care Register.
