Quality assured intensive care
In autumn 2019, the Swedish Intensive Care Registry started the project "Safe quality intensive care". This is part of the changed role that quality registers will have in the new healthcare organisation and knowledge management.
Welcome to SIR’s Information on Intermediate Care
The Swedish Intensive Care Registry (SIR) has initiated the collection of data from intermediate care units (IMA). Only units that are organizationally defined as intermediate care are included in this registration. Intensive care units will continue to report according to previous routines, even when the IMA care form is used within their operations.
Here you will find information on patient information requirements, membership and reporting fees, technical specifications for data transfer, and how a unit can connect to SIR. Collected intermediate care data will be presented in SIR’s output portal, where participating units can be followed.
You are warmly welcome to explore guidelines, documents, and support materials to help you get started with reporting — and to contribute to the development of intermediate care in Sweden.
