Standardized Mortality Rate as an indicator of clinical performance
Risk adjustment of a course of medical care means that the results of the care are described taking into account patient factors that can affect the course of the illness.
SIR uses SAPS3 for risk adjustment in adult intensive care and PIM3 in child intensive care.
