In August, new national guidelines for PostICU follow-up were published by the National Program Area (NPO).
This guideline is not consistent with the current SIR guideline. Work is therefore ongoing to revise the SIR guideline.
Some units have already implemented the new inclusion criteria, which include patients who have spent 48 hours or more in an intensive care unit. In the NPO guideline, the 12-month follow-up is not included, therefore when registering on the input portal, "Activity missing" is selected. This does not affect the data on the output portal and the production data shows the reason why the 12-month follow-up is missing.
