The guideline applies to those who die on ICU from 2020-01-01
The guideline is to be regarded as a completely new guideline for follow-up of the deceased at ICU and entails a significant change in reporting as the definition of possible donor has changed.
The intention is partly to be able to follow the new national quality indicators that are used to quality assure organ donations at the care provider and to cover up for the new regulation SFS 2018: 307. The new national quality indicators have been developed by VOG Organ on behalf of the National Council for Organs, Tissues, Cells and Blood.
