On 1 July 2022, new rules for organ donation will enter into force. This also means changes to the guideline for Deceased in ICU
Change in the law could allow for more organ donations
The new regulations mean, among other things, that medical interventions before death, so-called organ preservation treatment, are now regulated by law. The hope is that the change in the law will save more lives through transplantation.
